Martin Luther King Jr. was a political activist, baptist minster, a great orator and most of all an leader of the Civil rights movement. He was known most from his specch of "I had a Dream". His work of being an peacemaker,promoting nonviolence and equal treatment for different races was the key to have people of all kind bond together. He is the youngest man to win the Noble Peace Prize and was also awarded the Presidental Metal of Freedom and the Congressial Gold Medal. he now is honored to have his name be an national holiday which was became an holiday in 2004.
